The highest winning big goes to a size 10 pair in the orange colorway, sold at $107,950 USD — around 5,000 times greater than the original estimated price range of $2,000 - $4,000 USD.As indicated in the results, the Orange colorway genuinely received higher bids than its Blue counterpart. Winning bids for the Blue editions ranged from $25,400 USD for the size 5, to $82,550 USD for the size 11. Meanwhile, the lowest winning bid for the Orange version amounted to $57,150 USD for a size 6 pair.All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Virgil Abloh Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Virgil Abloh Securities that is set to launch later this year. The Foundation will continue to support youths from diverse backgrounds in pursuing creative careers.
