sacai Sets a Monstrous Touch on the Clarks Originals Wallabee

The wait is over. sacai's highly-anticipated collaboration with British footwear brand Clarks Originals is finally here. Initially teased in sacai's Spring/Summer 2023 collection, official imagery previews Chitose Abe's monstrous approach to the Clarks Wallabee. The two-part collaboration arrives with two distinct designs — one is monumental, and the other is kept sleek and simple. The designer's first take on the mid-top boot sees the uppers in their original state, crafted in black leather and tan suede. Waxed laces and duplicate co-branded hang tags complete the upper half, while the party remains down below. The first pair is set atop Vibram's "super sole," featuring exposed foam shields and mega-sized sliced bottoms. The second design delivers a more toned-down approach, supplying subtle scored midsoles with angular finishes.
