Don’t look now, but Nike has been doing a fine job “returning to sport” with its recent lifestyle drops, penning a number of timely Air Force 1 pre-orders for world champs like the Knicks and Milwaukee Brewers and heading down to the collegiate rank with multiple packs inspired key programs. For our purposes, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “NCAA” pack continues coming out of hiding with official images of the TCU Horned Frogs pair.
Just like the FSU, Ohio State, and LSU colorways, Nike brings a relevant school-inspired pattern to the Foamposite shell, here appearing in New Orchid purple with stenciled geometry reminiscent of the school’s football uniforms. The Swooshes are done in white, while TCU branding appears throughout. The backtab and rear pull tab are two key details to note, with the former featuring a Horned Frogs graphic and the latter bearing “Give ’Em Hell,” the final line of the school’s Riff Ram Bah Zoo cheer.
