Nike’s Air Max 95 releases have been nonstop for the last year, but the shoe’s unique layering make it ripe for exciting new takes. This week, the runner has surfaced in a simple black & white look, paying homage to Parisian atelier culture.

Nike has a deep relationship with the city of Paris, shaped by the it’s deep influence on sport, fashion, and youth culture. The Swoosh now makes regular appearances during the biannual Fashion Weeks, with their sneaker appearing on runways and in showrooms for a vast variety of brands and fashion labels. The famous Air Max line even got its start in Paris, where Tinker Hatfield was inspired by the Centre Pompidou when cooking up the original Air Max 1. Now, nearly forty years after that shoe’s debut, the Air Max 95 is getting a special release honoring atelier studio culture in the French capital. The new look comes in a simple black & white build, featuring black suede mudguards and white canvas layered uppers. These layers have unfinished, raw edges to mimic the look of a sample in progress. Blue hints for the outsole, air bags, and insoles complete the look, the latter of which features tech pack-inspired graphics.

NIKE AIR MAX 95 “ATELIER” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s next special-edition colorway of their Air Max 95 is currently expected to release next month, on February 12th, 2026. Celebrating Parisian design studio culture for the “Atelier” look, the black and white, raw-edged style will be available from both Nike and select retailers.
