The Air Max 1 has returned as a staple of the Nike catalogue this year, with waves of new colorways and various styles launching all year. This week, we have an early look at a ‘Violet Dust’ pair currently set for a November drop.

Nike’s Air Max 1 has been one of the brand’s largest claims to fame since its introduction in 1987. The first shoe to feature the now-legendary ‘visible Air’ bag in its midsole, the silhouette was ahead of its time as a running shoe when it debuted, but has since become a go-to lifestyle model for plenty of fans. This year, the revival of the AM1 has been everywhere, with new colorways arriving on a regular basis. This week, we have an early look at a new ‘Violet Dust’ color scheme of the Air Max 1 SC, currently expected to release in November. This pair features a white mesh base layer and midsole, with tan leather mudguard wrapping around the perimeter. The midfoot overlays come in a light bone shade, while the ‘Violet Dust’ purple appears on the laces and Swooshes.

Nike’s upcoming ‘Violet Dust’ colorway of the Air Max 1 has not been officially announced for release, though they are tentatively scheduled to drop on November 9th, 2023. Cast in shades of brown with purple accents, pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $150.
