New Balance Introduces Outdoor Pack in Collaboration with CAYL

New Balance is teaming up with South Korean-based brand Climb As You Love (CAYL) for an outdoor pack that is ready for the trails.

CAYL began its relationship with New Balance in 2021 with the release of CRV ZIP and SLIDE silhouettes, a significant project for the brand as it marked its first-ever footwear project.

Two years later, the South Korea and Boston-based brands are now teaming up again to release outdoor-ready examples of the New Balance 610 and New Balance Fresh Foam X More Trail v3.

The 610 features "Covert Green" layers of hairy suede, a technical ripstop-esque base layer, a mesh toe box for breathability, reflective treatment at the heels and subtle co-branded CAYL mountain logos at the collar and tongue tags.

A bit more understated in its design and advanced in its technologies is the Fresh Foam More Trail v3, featuring an assemblage of grey and black with a variety of reflective elements, including the "N" logo, toe protect strip and heel layer -- which also features a co-branded NB x CAYL logo.

Other notable design elements on the More Trail include a rough mudguard layer at the heel of the shoe and an almost mud-like expression on the More Trail's iconic foam outsole that sits on top of Vibram treads for ultimate comfort and performance.

The New Balance x CAYL outdoor pack is expected to drop on October 1, primarily in South Korea, with an anticipated U.S. drop to follow. For more info keep an eye on New Balance's official channels.
