The renowned partnership between Boston’s Concepts brand and New Balance, specifically the Concepts x New Balance 998 “C-Note,” will be making a comeback in Holiday 2023, marking the 10th Anniversary of this iconic collaboration.
Initially launched in September 2013, the Concepts x New Balance 998 “C-Note” paid homage to the hundred-dollar bill. This release coincided with New Balance’s recognition of the 998’s 20th Anniversary, featuring various collaborations with shops and brands throughout the year.
Deon Point, the creative mind behind Concepts, hinted at a possible return of this iconic sneaker on Instagram. The 2023 version may embrace an updated “Old Money…” tagline and possibly draw inspiration from the recent revamp of the original model, which debuted earlier this year as part of Teddy Santis’ Made in USA collection.
