Best Footwear Trends at London Fashion Week FW24

For the Fall/Winter 2024 season, London Fashion Week brought out some of the most talked about recent shoe releases. Sneakers continue to be the footwear of choice for a busy week of going from show-to-show. In terms of sneaker staples, the Salomon XT-6 still proves to be a fan favorite for versatile wear and ever-changing weather conditions. The gorpcore aesthetic is still one that is popular, also evident in the other outdoor-focused footwear like the Nike ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX. Nike prevails as the Nike x Martine Rose collaboration for the Shox MR4 continues to be a popular shoe choice amongst streetwear aficionados. It comes as no surprise as Martine Rose is a London Talent who won British menswear Designer of the Year last year. In other Nike collaborations, the ever popular COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Foamposite One, noticeable for its three-dimensional ripple pattern used across the forefoot and midfoot and the Jacquemus collaboration on the Force 1 Low LX also made an appearance. The newly unveiled Nike Air Max DN was spotted on a lucky showgoer's feet. The coveted pair is a completely new silhouette that is set to arrive on Air Max Day next month. New Balance silhouettes like the 2002R Protection Pack and the 1906R were popular while ASICS and Cecile Bahnsen's was a collaboration to highlight on the ground.
