Tech runners and low-profile sneakers have been among the biggest footwear trends of the past few seasons, so it’s no surprise their parallel rise has given way to a new wave of tech-leaning low-profile models. New Balance has already thrown its hat in the ring with the 204L and RC56, while ASICS is preparing to introduce the Hypersync, shown here in two colorways ahead of its March 2026 debut.
Not unlike Issey Miyake’s ASICS Hyper Taping, the Hypersync packages tech-runner layering into a silhouette reminiscent of low-to-the-ground training shoes. ASICS’ sister company Onitsuka Tiger lays claim to some of the hottest retro low-profile models on the market, namely the Mexico 66. The Hypersync therefore appears to have plenty of upside, particularly given the instant recognition created by its bold side paneling.
The ASICS Hypersync debuts March 2026 in multiple colorways, including the “Graphite Grey/Black” and “Piedmont Grey/Pure Silver” looks shown below. Retail is expected to land around $100 USD. See official images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming ASICS.
