When it comes to iconic sneakers, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” will be on the top of the list. The shoes were originally released in 1985, and since then, we have seen the shoes retro multiple times, including in high and low-top silhouettes. The last time we saw the shoes arrive true to OG form, or at least close, was in 2016. Throughout the years, we saw collaborations launch using the theme, including unorthodox materials like satin. For 2024, the brand will debut the “Black Toe Reimagined” Air Jordan 1 High OG for the Holiday season.

Jordan Brand’s “Reimagined” Series started in 2021 and has stretched upon five pairs, and the “Black Toe” marks the sixth. The first to arrive at retailers is the “Bred Patent” Air Jordan 1 iteration, which takes the classic color scheme but applies patent leather. The second rendition was the “Lost & Found” Air Jordan 1 with an aged makeover. Another hit was the “White Cement Reimagined” Air Jordan 3, featuring an aged aesthetic. For the Holiday season, Jordan Brand released the “Royal Reimagined” Air Jordan 1, which was probably the least sought-after in the collection. Another pair launching in 2024 is the “Bred Reimagined” Air Jordan 4, constructed with leather instead of nubuck.

The “Black Toe Reimagined” Air Jordan 1 High OG was initially expected to launch in the Holiday 2023 season. However, the brand decided to launch the “Royal Reimagined” instead. We can confirm, thanks to our sources, that the “Black Toe Reimagined” will launch for Holiday 2024.

Dressed in a White, Varsity Red, and Black color combination. This Air Jordan 1 features Black around the toe box, hence the nickname, with the same shade on the eyestays, laces, Wings, ankle, Nike Air on the tongue, and Swoosh logos. White runs across the base, perforated toe box, tongue, and midsole. Lastly, Varsity Red adorns the ankle overlay, around the heel, and rubber outsole.

With “Reimagined” releases, they either come with different materials or an aged look. Essentially, they are a reimagined interpretation of the shoes. We have yet to confirm what materials the 2024 “Black Toe” pair will come with. However, according to mr_unloved1s, the shoes won’t be aged. There is a running theory that the pair could be the original samples that, instead of the Wings logo, it could feature “Air Jordan.” Currently, this has yet to be confirmed.

You can expect the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” to be released at select retailers and Nike.com in the Holiday 2024 season. The retail price is $180.
