For the past several years, the name A Ma Maniere has been synonymous with Air Jordan collabs. James Whitner’s label has truly been given unprecedented access to the imprint’s Retro roster, with double-backs on vaunted silhouettes and, increasingly, multi-model collections with their always thoughtful narrative touch.

Thus, we couldn’t fault you for dreaming up more Retro releases in patented low-contrast tones (with the APB Jordan 11 Low looming for later this year, you’re already partially right). However, the A Ma Maniere Nike V5 RNR pictured here signals a slight shift in strategy. Though still kitted in the brand’s dominant dusky tones, the V5 RNR is a break in many ways, turning to a far less storied (though perhaps more trendy) shoe in the Beaverton archive.

Within that, this still makes for an arresting visual, particularly as we see a Y2K tint on their classic pantones in the overlays and Swooshes, a point of intrigue on top of the split between off-white on the fabric quarter and sunset purples at the rear and fore of this design. Even more eyebrow-raising on a strategic note, early info source @brandon1an has stamped that this is one of five colorways in the works, maybe a move on Nike’s part to leverage AMM’s name to vault up the tech runner that’s lacked an actual spotlight moment to date.

All of these lingering questions will no doubt be clarified as we move closer to release. For now, the A Ma Maniere x Nike V5 RNR is expected for Spring ‘26 with a $95 MSRP, placing its launch sometime before the end of March.
