Pharrell Fattens Up the Tongues for His New adidas Samba "Humanrace" Capsule

Pharrell never stays too far away from the headlines as he has a finger in various pop culture projects. After recently announcing the return of his Something in the Water Festival, the multi-hyphenate is now drawing our attention back to his ever-growing line with adidas to show off its forthcoming Samba "Humanrace" capsule. The kicks were first spotted on the soles of Skateboard P at the Mighty Dream Forum, and now they've been revealed by way of product imagery through Australian retailer Up There.For this initiative, Pharrell has readied two colorways of the classic football-turned-lifestyle silhouette. The most notable difference here is that he elongated and tongues to give the kicks more dimension. One iteration falls on the brighter side of the spectrum as its leather uppers are dialed to a "Cloud White" hue while notes of black cover the stripes, heel overlays and "Samba" branding. Suede overlays are sprayed with a lighter gray tone while the sole units contrast with gum exteriors.The other option is darker in appearance, arriving designed with stealthy tongues, stripes and leather side walls.
