New Balance continues to deliver exciting new versions of their retro 550 basketball sneaker. This week, a ‘Verdigris’ version releases in women’s sizes, and is expected to release worldwide this season.

New Balance’s bread and butter for sneaker colorways is their neutral palettes, ranging from various shades of white and grey to navy blue and Earth-toned hues. However, when they go colorful, they typically do an excellent job, like with the new women’s ‘Verdigris’ pair that launched earlier this week. Featuring a white mesh base layer, the look adds pale grey suede throughout the upper. Mid layers come in a bright orange shade, in addition to teal green elements throughout the design. Finally, baby blue heel clips and speckled midsoles complete the look.

New Balance’s latest stye of the 550 released via the brand’s website earlier this week, before quickly selling out. However, the colorful ‘Verdigris’ pair is expected to land at third-party retailers in the near future, carrying their usual price tag of $110.
